I am a devoted Sydneysider, though my heritage is from south-east Queensland. I am a Ugarapul-Gidabal woman of the Jagara Nation. I spent my teenage years on the Northern Beaches and came back to live here 7 years ago. I have painted, scribbled and made objects all my life; and shown in exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. I am a member of Harrington Street Artists Co-op and Pittwater Community Arts. Since being back on the Northside, I have had works in 3  Aboriginal Artists Exhibitions in Hornsby and in other group exhibitions, including our inaugural NSAA (NorthSide Aboriginal Artists) Exhibition (Mona Vale) as part of the 2013 Guringai Festival  and in our two NSAA Exhibitions (Mona Vale & Chatswood) as part of the 2014 Guringai Festival. I am the Convenor of the NSAA group.

As part of the 2015 Guringai Festival, NSAA has exhibitions in Hunters Hill and Hornsby, in which I am showing works. My art practice has always been eclectic, but now is evolving away from the figurative, more into the designs and world of the mind, of the spirit, the world which energises us, behind the everyday world.

My ‘other’ life is in education and community projects. I am currently doing research work in Aboriginal Health for UNSW and the NSW Cancer Council; and I belong to local and regional Aboriginal groups and advisory bodies.
